The dream Orlando City SC starting XI with Ganso included

With just over 40 days until the start of a brand new Major League Soccer campaign for Orlando City SC, the wait for a new DP goes on and in truth, few names have been linked thus far.

With Kevin Alston and Joe Bendik representing the only senior arrivals this off-season, Lions supporters still crave quality support to Kaká in the transfer market.

Of the small pool of names linked with a switch to the Citrus Bowl for 2016, São Paulo FC’s Ganso and AC Milan’s Antonio Nocerino have caught the eye with the pair surely commanding DP kudos if signed, in turn demoting either Bryan Rochez or Carlos Rivas from their current status.

The Ganso rumours are nothing new to City supporters of course with stories over his potential arriving stretching back to the summer.

We read in the Orlando Sentinel back in August that the ex-Brazilian international regretted the fact that his proposed switch to Central Florida was held up by red tape.

With Orlando City SC fans having lived in hope that the deal could be resurrected since then, a potential revived bid could be complicated by the fact that Chinese second-tier outfit Hebei China Fortune have reportedly agreed a deal for the 26-year-old playmaker according to Portuguese source Record.

While that would suck, we just couldn’t help slotting Ganso into a dream Orlando City XI to see how he might’ve fitted in on paper.
