New assistant coach for Orlando Pride as old MLS stager checks in

There was a big announcement for the Orlando Pride yesterday as it was confirmed by the Orlando Sentinel among other sources that ex-Major League Soccer professional Khano Smith has been appointed assistant coach of the new NWSL franchise.

A well-known name in MLS circles, former Bermuda international Smith represented New England Revolution 100 times in the league while also turning out for the New York Red Bulls back in 2009, not to mention a brief spell in England with Lincoln City as part of a playing career that began back in 2003. Orlando Health extends Orlando City SC sponsorship by 6 years

They’ve been the instantly recognisable name on the face of Orlando City SC’s jerseys ever since the USL days and now Orlando Health will remain in focus until 2021 after signing an extended deal with the Lions.

As reported by the Sports Business Journal of late, the not-for-profit community hospital network has not only extended its deal with Orlando City SC but has also expanded it to encompass shirt sponsorship for Orlando City B and the Orlando Pride from 2016 to boot. Continue reading
