The other 50 per cent of Orlando City SC’s battling core in the centre of the park, Darwin Cerén actually beat out competition from Kaká to be named the best Latino footballer in Major League Soccer last season.
With that accolade speaking for itself, this long-term Lions favourite rarely lets you down in the middle of the park and when you consider he played 26 times in MLS last season, not to mention juggling this output with several international call-up’s to the El Salvador camp, he deserves plenty of credit.
