An extremely exciting signing, Josué Colmán was very highly-rated during his time at Cerro Porteño where he made 48 appearances for the Paraguayan Primera División outfit.
Part of the Cerro Porteño side that were crowned champions in the 2017 Torneo Clausura, Josué Colmán will bring a winning mentality and an ability to play as a classic number 10, a secondary striker or out on the wings.
Joining Orlando City SC as a Young Designated Player, Josué Colmán will occupy an international roster slot.
Still a teenager of course, Josué Colmán is the latest in a line of talented South American stars hoping to push forward their careers in the United States – a fantastic sign for Major League Soccer.
An unfamiliar name to Orlando City SC supporters prior to December, all City fans now know who he is with his arrival heavily anticipated for weeks now.
It’s looking like @ColmanJosue is going to be our new Number 1️⃣0️⃣! 👀🇵🇾⚽️

Following the notable signing of Sacha Kljestan back on January 3rd, Josué Colmán‘s arrival underlines the Orlando City SC Front Office’s lofty ambitions in the transfer market this winter.
Losing a club legend and leader in the dressing room like Kaká isn’t easy but the general consensus among Lions fans is that Kljestan and Colmán are more than adequate attack-minded replacements.
With Orlando City SC Twitter currently marvelling at the capture of Josué Colmán, Orlando City UK gathered the best tweets following his arrival in The City Beautiful.

still a lot of ?’s with Colman but Orlando’s midfield is looking solid right now. it’s still pretty formidable even if Colman turns out to be a bust.

Colman had to go to his local Dick’s Sporting Goods store to get his OC gear. He’s now wandering around Orlando wearing purple…just in case today is the day.

Is there a difference between a young DP and a regular DP as it pertains to roster rules? If not I believe we’re now at our 3 DP limit between Yoshi, Dom, and Josue.
