After some fantastic trips to Central Florida watching Orlando City SC multiple times over the past few years, Orlando City UK are doing something a little different next month.
We are proud to announce we will be attending England’s eagerly anticipated international friendly against United States at Wembley Stadium on Thursday 15th November.
The first time the Three Lions have faced the Stars and Stripes since a 1-1 draw at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa where Rob Green scored that infamous own goal, we simply can’t wait for this fixture.
Although Orlando City SC stars Jonathan Spector and Dom Dwyer haven’t been called up to Dave Sarachan’s United States squad for a while now, we are so excited to watch the USMNT live for the very first time.
Shocked and disappointed when the United States failed to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup last year, it’s great to see plenty of young US talent now emerging.
With the likes of Tyler Adams, Weston McKennie and of course Christian Pulisic trailblazing the way as the USMNT looks toward the future, it will be interesting to see Gareth Southgate’s England side take on the country whose soccer we passionately promote week in, week out.
Come say hello!
Always engaging with like-minded Brits sharing an interest in Major League Soccer and the USMNT, let us know if you will be attending the game.
Orlando City UK are currently organising our plans for matchday so DM us on Twitter and we hope to meet as many of you as possible!
