Orlando City UK would like to dedicate this blog to the incredibly generous, kind, and selfless #OCTwitter community who left me speechless and overwhelmed with joy on Friday afternoon.
After Orlando City SC punched their ticket to the 2022 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Final on July 27, Kyle Butler (@SpearheadKyle) and 43 others raised an incredible $1,780 to fund a trip to Exploria Stadium to watch the final live and in-person.
Genuinely the nicest and most incredible gesture anybody has done for me, I am eternally grateful, cannot thank every donor enough, and will never forget this amazing act.
Coming as a total surprise, I had no idea the Orlando City SC community were working behind the scenes to make my trip happen.
Visiting Orlando as recently as June, I could’ve never imaged returning to The City Beautiful so soon, for our biggest game in club history no less.
All set to be standing on The Wall with you all, my latest Orlando trip will be from Monday, September 5 to Thursday, September 8.
Here’s hoping Orlando City SC can defeat Sacramento Republic to seal our first major trophy and a spot in the 2023 CONCACAF Champions League.
Vamos Orlando!
Ok so now many of you have been talking about how we need to get @Orlando_CityUK to the Open Cup final. It’s a no brainer. Taylor epitomizes everything it means to be an OC Supporter. We have raised $1000 already. If you want to help see the link! https://t.co/zbmMuS7Qu2

This is a great example of Win & Help Win mentality from everyone involved.
Huge props to @SpearheadKyle for organizing this.
Great to reward people like @Orlando_CityUK who do so much for our club. Taylor deserves this more than anyone!
