Orlando City SC supporters have today learned when each of their thirty-four 2023 Major League Soccer regular season fixtures will be played.
With all MLS franchises’ complete regular season schedules released today, away days can be planned, rivalry games can be circled, and Lions supporters can now start mapping out Orlando City SC‘s quest to reach the 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs.

Within the first full month of MLS action, Orlando City SC supporters can look forward to three league games at Exploria Stadium.
The Lions open against New York Red Bulls on February 25 while facing FC Cincinnati (March 4) and Charlotte FC (March 18).
The first away assignment for Oscar Pareja‘s Lions is a trip to face Wayne Rooney’s D.C. United at Audi Field on March 11.
The regular season will come to a close with 2023 MLS Decision Day on October 21.
This sets the stage for the 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs and MLS Cup with details to be announced at a later date.
Inaugural fixture against St. Louis CITY SC
Since 2020, MLS sides have controversially not faced every other single opponent – and this theme continues.
This was, in part, due to Inter Miami, Nashville SC, Austin FC and Charlotte FC’s league entrances, plus COVID-19 travel restrictions.
In 2023, Orlando City SC will face all 14 of their Eastern Conference opponents twice (home and away) while facing just six teams from the Western Conference once.
With St. Louis CITY SC entering Major League Soccer’s Western Conference in 2023, the inaugural meeting of Orlando City SC and St. Louis will take place at Exploria Stadium on August 26.
After spending one temporary season as a Western Conference team, Nashville SC will spend 2023 back in the Eastern Conference following St. Louis CITY SC’s arrival.
Looking at the Lions’ 2023 cross-conference affairs, these take place on these dates.

- vs. Colorado Rapids – June 10
- @ Seattle Sounders – June 24
- @ Real Salt Lake – July 8
- vs. St. Louis CITY SC – August 26
Meeting in-state and out-of-state foes
As for other notable fixtures in today’s full release, all the anticipation of course surrounds Orlando City SC‘s next clashes with Florida rivals Inter Miami as well as Atlanta United.
Meeting eight times in MLS so far, Orlando City SC have defeated Inter Miami four times with the Fort Lauderdale-based side also earning two victories.
Orlando City SC face The Herons two times this year, at DRV PNK Stadium on May 20, and at Exploria Stadium on September 24.
Orlando City SC‘s 2023 home meeting with fierce rivals Atlanta United is on May 27.
As for the away fixture, Oscar Pareja‘s Lions fly north above Interstate 75 to visit Mercedes-Benz Stadium on July 15.

Two Canadian road trips
As for Orlando City SC‘s 2023 fixtures in the Great White North, City visit CF Montréal on May 6, and Toronto FC on 2023 MLS Decision Day (October 21).
There is no 2023 regular season meeting scheduled between Orlando City SC and Vancouver Whitecaps.
Visiting two new MLS stadiums
Elsewhere, Orlando City SC will play at two MLS stadiums they’ve never visited before as part of their 2023 regular season schedule.
Oscar Pareja‘s Lions visit New York City FC’s other temporary home, Citi Field, on September 20.
Later, on October 4, City will visit Nashville SC’s 30,000 capacity GEODIS Park – the largest soccer-specific stadium in the United States.
