Today, we’re celebrating our 10th birthday at Orlando City UK, with our Official International Fan Club of Orlando City SC established a whole decade ago 😮 – time flies!

After back-to-back top-four finishes in 2023 and 2024, this season has been a big step backwards – plain and simple!

A strange season that quickly swung from hope to heartbreak, our loyal UK supporters watched all the action live on Apple TV.

No Orlando City SC game 🙁

Unfortunately, unlike previous years, we haven’t made it out to Central Florida for an Orlando City SC game this season.

Always itching to be back in The City Beautiful, I daydream of a future MLS Cup at Inter&Co Stadium – the title we all desperately crave!

2025 Orlando City SC home jersey (The Perfect Storm Kit) unboxing

Each time a new Orlando City SC jersey is released, we like to provide our Twitter (X) followers an up close and personal look at the latest design.

In late February, we got our hands on the 2025 Orlando City SC home jersey (The Perfect Storm Kit) and released our own unboxing video.

This year, I opted to get Dagur Dan Thórhallsson on the back of my primary purple kit.

Membership growth

Our Official International Fan Club of Orlando City SC now boasts 71 loyal and passionate Orlando City UK members spread across the UK, Europe, and North America.

As you can see from our Orlando City UK Fan Map, Orlando City SC supporters are spread throughout every corner of Great Britain, underlining the Lions’ mass appeal on our shores.

Since establishing Orlando City UK in November 2015, it’s been an aim of mine to make Orlando City SC the best supported Major League Soccer franchise in Great Britain and for us, we are exactly that!

Live Blog matchday coverage

We conducted live blog matchday coverage yet again this year.

2025 saw us keep Orlando City SC supporters up-to-date with the key plays from 15 of the Lions’ 43 overall fixtures (MLS, U.S. Open Cup, Leagues Cup, MLS Cup Playoffs) in real time on Twitter (X).

A hugely effective way to join in the greater Orlando City SC conversation online, we thank every single follower for their likes, comments, and retweets throughout the course of the 2025 campaign.

43 Stats Previews

Throughout 2025, Orlando City UK has yet again provided comprehensive Statistical Match Previews for every single Orlando City SC fixture in Major League Soccer.

Each preview featured dedicated sections, including ‘Last time out’, ‘Last head-to-head’, ‘What’s at stake this time?’, ‘Opposition danger men’, ‘New opposition faces’, ‘Injuries’, and ‘Suspensions’.

This gave Orlando City SC supporters the ultimate lowdown, capturing the authentic feelings and spirit of the fanbase with each passing gameweek.

Across all 34 of our MLS regular season Stats Previews, we included five well-researched stats per game.

Additionally, we covered Orlando City SC’s participation in the 2025 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, 2025 Leagues Cup, and the 2025 MLS Eastern Conference Wild Card match.

Altogether, Orlando City UK has generated an impressive 215 individual stats in 2025.

New-and-improved player profiles

Anyone who knows me knows I’ve always had a keen interest in player personnel, squad numbers, nationalities, and all the little details that bring a team to life.

To make the Orlando City UK website feel even more authentic, I gave our player profiles a revamp this year.

Along with adding player nationality flags (🇺🇸🇦🇷🇨🇴), I included home and away squad number graphics for every Orlando City SC, Orlando Pride, and Orlando City B player.

“Follow City Away” guest blogs by Josh Keeble

While I couldn’t make it out to the States to watch Orlando City SC play live this year, one man who did was devoted Orlando City UK member, Josh Keeble (@JoshuaKeeble17).

Taking in three road games across the country – plus one home game – Josh generously shared his experiences through guest blogs for Orlando City UK.

He witnessed Orlando City SC’s 1-2 defeat at New York City FC (March 8), a 0-5 win over Tampa Bay Rowdies (May 7), a 2-4 victory at St. Louis CITY SC (June 25), and a 1-2 loss to FC Cincinnati (June 28).

It was a mixed bag of results, but, in Josh’s own words, away days aren’t always about the scoreline – “they’re about having a great time”.

Twitter (X) Reacts

While Statistical Match Previews were Orlando City UK’s main offering to the Orlando City SC community online, so too were the biggest Orlando City SC headlines of the year.

As part of our crowdsourced segment “Twitter Reacts”, Orlando City UK wrote features about player acquisitions including Nicolás Rodríguez, Marco Pašalić, Eduard Atuesta, Joran Gerbet, Gustavo Caraballo, and Zakaria Taifi.

Plus, features about the departures of Mason Stajduhar, Nicolás Lodeiro, Michael Halliday, Rafael Santos, and Ramiro Enrique.

Regular news output

Elsewhere, we wrote “Who Is?” profile pieces about mid-season signings Tyrese Spicer and Adrián Marín.

And a feature about Oscar Pareja’s new contract through 2028, plus the news that Orlando City SC will release an MLS Archive Collection third kit in 2026.
