HOW ABOUT THAT RAIN DELAY? 😮⛈️ Huge credit if you stuck it out past midnight to see Orlando City SC beat Sporting Kansas City 3-1. It definitely wasn’t our best game. But the Lions turned it on after the break with The Wall staying loud despite the marathon wait.

Oscar Pareja’s 100th career win for City, we’re now unbeaten in 7 straight across all competitions (6-1-0). And, we’re just 5 points off new Eastern Conference leaders FC Cincinnati (52). Peaking at the perfect time, we’re back in the Supporters’ Shield hunt too, trailing San Diego FC (52) by 5 points also. WAS I DREAMING? 🤩 A first-half hat-trick by Luis Muriel? 😮 Incredible! Orlando City SC head into Sunday’s Sunshine Clásico against Inter Miami riding high, having qualified for the 2025 Leagues Cup knockout stage with a 5-1 win over Necaxa. By finishing fourth in the MLS table, we’ve now set up a quarter-final with Toluca at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.

Now back in MLS action, we’re out to protect our unbeaten home record against Miami (3-4-0). A win here would not only give us huge momentum, but secure a famous season sweep. Our legs may be tired from a packed schedule. But hopefully, adrenaline can carry us past the South Florida team we all love to beat! After four games without a win, Orlando City SC finally bounced back with a gritty 1-2 road victory at New England Revolution. A much-needed lift for the squad, our social media admin joined in the fun, celebrating not just 3 points at the scene of the Coldplay incident, but an awkwardly-timed fireworks show too! Most importantly, the Lions responded when they needed to, and just in time.

Just before the 2025 Leagues Cup group stage kicks off, we now face our first and only Friday fixture of the regular season – a road trip to high-flying Columbus Crew. With the table tightening and just 9 regular season games remaining after this, there’s no better time to build momentum. So let’s make one last push before the break! After selecting him as the 27th overall pick in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft back on December 20, Orlando City SC have today announced that Joran Gerbet has been signed to a first team contract at Inter&Co Stadium.

During City’s 2025 pre-season, Gerbet has already made second-half cameos in high-profile friendlies against Atlético Mineiro and Inter Miami. As the MLS off-season continues, Orlando City SC are working hard to strengthen the squad ahead of our 2025 campaign. Yesterday, North American transfer expert Tom Bogert tweeted that the Lions “are nearing a deal to sign Colombian midfielder Eduard Atuesta from Palmeiras.”
