We’ve only just settled down since the shenanigans of Orlando City SC’s most recent Major League Soccer fixture at the Citrus Bowl in which stoppage time was a frantic affair yet again.

Baldomero Toledo has been a swear word within the city of Orlando for a week now after the PRO Referee WRONGLY adjudged Servando Carrasco to have handled Lee Nguyen’s cross-shot in basically the final play of the match to hand New England Revolution a penalty that should never have been. Did we witness the worst call so far this season in Major League Soccer on Sunday?

Well, the Orlando City SC fraternity seem to think so after what can only be described as a downright case of peer pressure on Baldomero Toledo.

Awarding New England Revolution a last gasp penalty after an ALLEGED handball from Servando Carrasco that ACTUALLY hit his shoulder, Lee Nguyen successfully converted the spot kick to salvage a 2-2 draw at the Citrus Bowl. Continue reading

So all of a sudden, Orlando City SC’s two opening home games of the 2016 Major League Soccer season are now over with an accumulation of two points from a possible six.

Drawing 1-1 with last season’s Eastern Conference whipping boys Chicago Fire at the Citrus Bowl, it was a tale of frustration for Adrian Heath‘s Lions who couldn’t find a winner despite playing against 10-men for round about an hour after Michael Harrington’s first-half dismissal. Continue reading
