Despite beating New York Red Bulls 3-2 yesterday, Orlando City SC head coach Adrian Heath was far from pleased with his teams’ performance in the friendly win at ChampionsGate Sports Complex.

While the Lions managed to grab a victory right off the back of a 2-1 pre-season defeat upstate at Florida rivals Jacksonville Armada last Saturday, it was the manner of City’s win that didn’t sit well with Heath, as reported by the Orlando Sentinel. Continue reading →

It’s official folks. Orlando City SC were the second most searched soccer team in world football for the year that was 2015 as part of Google’s ‘Year of Search’ study.

Beaten only by Spanish giants Barcelona in the internet goliath’s Top 10 Trending Soccer Teams of 2015 subsidiary research project, curious keyboard warriors went online to find out more about Adrian Heath’s team this year than the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid! Orlando City SC welcomed over 83,000 for NYCFC home games

Everybody knows that Orlando City SC’s #FillTheBowl initiative was a roaring success (no pun intended) with 62,510 spectators present at the Citrus Bowl for the Lions’ first ever Major League Soccer fixture against New York City FC back in March.
