A victory at last! Even now I don’t quite know how we managed to pull it off but a 100th minute spot kick successfully converted by Kaká ensured that Orlando City SC bagged their fourth win of 2016 on Saturday.

Orlando City SC racked up their third successive 2-2 draw against San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday evening at Camping World Stadium in a fixture that meant far more than the result alone.

The Lions’ first MLS fixture since the tragic Orlando shooting back on June 12th, the event was an incredibly moving spectacle that saw referee Robert Sibiga temporarily halt the game on 49 minutes to pay tribute to the 49 victims. Continue reading

Having opened their pre-season account in routine style with a 4-0 win over Eastern Florida State College last weekend, there will be a step up in quality today and furthermore on Saturday February 27th when Adrian Heath‘s men go up against Brazilian outfit Bahia at the Citrus Bowl.

Orlando City SC complete signing of Honduras U20 captain

There’s another new face in the Orlando City SC squad after Honduras Under-20 international captain Devron García signed with the Lions today, as reported by the club’s official website.

Arriving at the Citrus Bowl from C.D. Victoria in his Central American homeland, García becomes the second Honduran national in Adrian Heath’s squad with Bryan Rochez having arrived last season. Continue reading
