The melancholy feeling of disappointment lingers on and on for Orlando City SC who suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat against New York Red Bulls back on June 1.

Frankly speaking, the small flickers of hope for sneaking into the 2024 MLS Cup Playoffs continue to dwindle week by week.

Having had a whole fortnight to stew over our disappointing 1-0 defeat at New York Red Bulls, the Lions now return to Inter&Co Stadium for a cross-conference meeting with in form Los Angeles FC who have won five MLS games in a row, conceding ZERO goals in the process!

Things could certainly get worse before they get better for Oscar Pareja and his side. Seeing our five-game unbeaten road streak snapped at Red Bull Arena, we could’ve played until midnight and still not scored! Continue reading

Securing three victories, two draws and three defeats so far, it’s safe to say Orlando City SC are an improving side following a nightmare 2018. Continue reading

On Saturday, Orlando City SC battled to rescue a 3–3 draw at home to playoff qualification rivals New England Revolution (if you still consider us to be in the hunt), only our fourth point out of the last possible 42.

Over those 14 games the Lions have been outscored 40-15 and with a league-high 2.35 goals conceded per game, Orlando City SC are on pace to end on 80 which would obliterate the previous MLS record of 70 set by a leaky Minnesota United in their 2017 debut season. Continue reading

After the furore and injustice of a heartbreaking 3-2 defeat at Columbus Crew last weekend, Orlando City SC must clear their heads for a rare Thursday night test against New York City FC at Orlando City Stadium.

It’s ironic that Patrick Vieira’s New York City FC are the first ever visitors to our brand 25,500-seater soccer-specific facility given NYCFC were our first ever MLS opponents back on March 8th 2015 at the Citrus Bowl. Continue reading
