Eight games down and ten points on the board for Adrian Heath‘s Orlando City SC.

While the Lions are only four points off current table-toppers Montreal Impact right now, City haven’t truly found their stride so far this term with four draws underlining this fact.

That said, we’re certain every single Orlando City SC fan was delighted to snatch a point on the road away at New England Revolution last time out where a 90th minute strike from Carlos Rivas was enough to cancel out Juan Agudelo’s second-half strike that gave Jay Heaps’ side the initiative. We’ve only just settled down since the shenanigans of Orlando City SC’s most recent Major League Soccer fixture at the Citrus Bowl in which stoppage time was a frantic affair yet again.

Baldomero Toledo has been a swear word within the city of Orlando for a week now after the PRO Referee WRONGLY adjudged Servando Carrasco to have handled Lee Nguyen’s cross-shot in basically the final play of the match to hand New England Revolution a penalty that should never have been. But with the past being the past, let’s move on with Orlando City SC returning to the Citrus Bowl on Sunday to welcome Jay Heaps’ New England Revolution of the Eastern Conference who sit one point below the Lions on seven points after gameweek six. Continue reading

What a difference a few weeks can make!

After disappointingly only picking up two points from two home games at the start of the season against both Real Salt Lake and Chicago Fire, it’s all change for Adrian Heath‘s Orlando City SC.

With our Lions rising to the very summit of the MLS Eastern Conference after gameweek five (fourth game for City), courtesy of a rousing 4-1 victory over reigning MLS Cup champions Portland Timbers last time out, morale is high right now. Continue reading
