Functioning as a reflection on some of the players who simply didn’t hit it off as Lions for whatever reason, we place the spotlight on what they did (or rather didn’t do) in an Orlando City SC jersey while providing an update on what they can be found doing nowadays.

With the Antonio Nocerino deal nearing completion, Orlando City SC have also moved to retain a current star in the form of Rafael Ramos who signed a new two-year extension today.
The 21-year-old Portuguese has built a reputation for himself as one of the most attack-minded full backs in all of Major League Soccer.
Having joined the club in its USL format back in 2014, Orlando City UK is delighted that Ramos will be remaining at the Citrus Bowl for the foreseeable future. Continue reading

With just 22 days left to go until Orlando City SC’s Major League Soccer opener against Real Salt Lake on March 6th, today the Lions build on their pre-season preparations by travelling upstate to face Jacksonville Armada of the NASL.
Having opened their pre-season account in routine style with a 4-0 win over Eastern Florida State College last weekend, there will be a step up in quality today and furthermore on Saturday February 27th when Adrian Heath‘s men go up against Brazilian outfit Bahia at the Citrus Bowl.

Orlando City SC’s summer recruitment drive currently stands at seven new faces after Antonio Matarazzo and Tobenna Uzo were selected as the Lions’ next picks in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft.
Selected in the third and fourth rounds, 22-year-old midfielder Matarazzo arrives from Columbia University while 21-year-old Nigerian striker Tobenna Uzo checks in from Coastal Carolina. Continue reading

In a busy few days for Orlando City SC, all Lions supporters were shocked and saddened to hear about the dismissal of assistant coach and club legend Ian Fuller on Wednesday.
Leaving the Citrus Bowl with immediate effect as reported by Paul Tenorio at the Orlando Sentinel, 36-year-old Fuller was one of the most important figures in City’s rise from USL to Major League Soccer having represented the club as a player between 2011 and 2013. Continue reading
