Orlando City UK is absolutely thrilled and delighted to announce that author and founder Taylor Williams is emigrating to live in Toronto, Canada this March.
Travelling to live in Canada for two years as part of the International Experience Canada (IEC) programme, Orlando City UK looks forward to supporting Orlando City SC that much closer on the North American continent itself!
What Orlando City UK’s move means
Taking our own journey into Major League Soccer when establishing Orlando City UK in November 2015, crossing the pond permanently now means Orlando City UK can attend even more Lions fixtures until 2020.
Having travelled to The City Beautiful to attend Orlando City SC‘s home openers in 2016 and 2017 plus last season’s home fixture against Minnesota United, Orlando City UK won’t be travelling to Orlando City Stadium this March but will now be attending Lions fixtures at home in the United States plus Canada through 2020.
Additionally, with the 2019 MLS All-Star Game taking place at Orlando City Stadium on Thursday 1st August, Orlando City UK hopes to make the trip down from Toronto to Central Florida for this special occasion.
Our Canada emigration now means Orlando City SC supporters can look forward to Orlando City UK delivering the very latest Lions news stories and live blogs like we’ve done so over the past four years plus even more MLS gameday experiences direct from North America.

Although it’s been incredibly novel staying up to the early hours and as late as 5am for 2016’s away fixture at Vancouver Whitecaps, Orlando City UK cannot wait to be watching Orlando City SC on the right timezone!
