After much anticipation, the new 2021 Orlando City SC home jersey – “Thick N Thin” – has officially been unveiled at Ace Cafe Orlando as part of the 2nd Annual City Art Jam.
Revealing the new look of our home purple with 43 days to go until the Lions kick off the 2021 campaign, Thick N Thin is our fourth home jersey design in Major League Soccer to date.

What’s new?

This year, the 2021 Orlando City SC home jersey boasts a bold and fashionable look.
The front of the jersey matches @JonahHenderdon6‘s prediction ‘leaked’ on FootyHeadlines.com on Tuesday.
True to the jersey name, the most eye-catching feature is the lighter purple spikes that start thick and end thin as they extend from the bottom of the jersey front.
The Thick N Thin double entendre encompasses not only the spikes but Orlando City SC supporters’ passionate devotion to the club.
Additionally, the top half purple shade is deeper and darker than the purple employed on Orlando City SC‘s previous three home jersey designs in MLS.
As stated on the official Orlando City SC website: “The jersey is inspired by City’s unwavering and irreverent fanbase and the manner in which the Orlando community exemplifies resilience through thick and thin, ups and downs, rain or shine.”
The 2021 Orlando City SC home jersey carries multiple colours – two shades of purple, white, and gold.
The iconic three Adidas stripes appear in plastic (authentic) rather than material (replica), running part-way down the right and left shoulders in white, with white sleeve cuffs too.
The updated home design sees a V-neck retained, however it includes two buttons. Two of Orlando City SC‘s previous three home jerseys have included a V-neck.

The contemporary Orlando Health logo continues as the club sponsor in white with two MLS sleeve patches featuring gold lettering and purple bordering on either sleeve.
In due course, the left sleeve may carry the logo of official Orlando City SC sponsor Exploria Resorts. Sleeve sponsors were introduced for the first time in MLS last season.
White MLS lettering and numbers in the retained MLS 25th anniversary font will adorn the back of the jersey.
Unique features
Unique features on the 2021 Orlando City SC home jersey include the Florida state flag on the rear neckline of the authentic jersey.

Elsewhere, a predominantly gold rectangle with the white text “Through Thick & Thin” features as the jock tag in the bottom left hand corner of the jersey front.

As for the Thick N Thin Jersey as a whole, purple shorts and purple socks will complete the updated home look for Oscar Pareja‘s Lions.
