After no live UK coverage of Orlando City SC vs CF Montréal in our 2022 MLS home opener, FreeSports are treating British City fans to two live fixtures in March.
Airing 14 live Orlando City SC games in 2021, FreeSports are televising the Lions’ away trips to LA Galaxy (March 19) and Portland Timbers (March 27) this month.
The free-to-air broadcaster has now listed their full schedule of televised Major League Soccer fixtures until the end of March.
As part of that release, Orlando City SC appeared twice.
FreeSports’ first live broadcast is on Saturday 19th March (19:45 GMT) where Oscar Pareja‘s side will make the long 2,512-mile trip to Dignity Health Sports Park to face LA Galaxy.
With Greg Vanney welcoming Douglas Costa to Carson this off-season, the Galaxy will present as stiff a test as they always do in Southern California.
FreeSports’ second live broadcast is on Sunday 27th March (21:05 GMT) where Orlando City SC will face 2021 MLS Cup runners-up Portland Timbers at Providence Park.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Orlando City SC haven’t visited LA Galaxy since July 2018 (4-3) and Portland Timbers since July 2019 (1-1).
Orlando City UK keenly awaits news whether Sky Sports will be showing City’s away game at Chicago Fire (March 5) or the home game against FC Cincinnati (March 12).
