After much anticipation, the new 2020 Orlando City SC away jersey – “Heart & Sol” – has officially been unveiled as part of a league-wide reveal preceding New York City’s Fashion Week.
Revealing the new look of our road whites with just 24 days to go until the Lions kick off 2020 against Real Salt Lake at Exploria Stadium, Heart & Sol is our fourth change design in Major League Soccer to date.

What’s new?

This year, the 2020 Orlando City SC away jersey boasts a modern and fashionable look, and matches the design leaked by TodoSobreCamisetas.com on January 29.
The most eye-catching feature is the three large Adidas stripes on the right shoulder that were teased by Orlando City SC back on January 15.
Inspired by the iconic Adidas 1994 template that will be exclusively used in MLS this year, the jersey is also a throwback to a bygone era.
As stated on the official Orlando City SC website, “the jersey is inspired by City’s wide-reaching fanbase across the state and the club’s wholehearted commitment to excellence, both on and off the field.”
Orlando City SC Senior VP of Marketing and Brand, Pedro Franklin de Araujo said: “In everything we do, we look for inspiration in our fan culture and local community.
The 2020 Orlando City SC away jersey carries multiple colours – purple, white and light purple – with the iconic three Adidas stripes in plastic (authentic) rather than material (replica) down the right shoulder in purple.
The updated away design sees a V-neck retained as has been the case on all three of Orlando City SC‘s previous road designs.
The contemporary Orlando Health logo continues as the club sponsor in purple with two MLS 25th anniversary sleeve patches featuring gold lettering and purple bordering on either sleeve.
Other MLS clubs, such as Toronto FC, have introduced sleeve sponsors for the first time this season and it remains to be seen whether the Lions will replace the right MLS sleeve patch with a company name.
Purple MLS lettering and numbers in the new MLS 25th anniversary font will adorn the back of the jersey.

Unique features on the Heart & Sol jersey include a subtle repeating outline of our lion’s mane (our crest) in a light shade of purple on the central portion of the jersey.
Elsewhere, a purple and gold Florida state outline features as the jock tag in the bottom left hand corner of the jersey front. Additionally, a purple pin marks Orlando’s location in Central Florida.

Elsewhere, the text “We Follow You” and the Spanish translation “Te Seguimos” features on a gold band that forms the inside neckline of the jersey.

As for the Heart & Sol jersey as a whole, white shorts and white socks with purple Adidas stripes will complete the updated road look for Oscar Pareja‘s Lions.
