With the 2020 MLS season almost here, Sky Sports are treating British Orlando City SC supporters to two live City fixtures in March.
Airing 7 live Orlando City SC games in 2019, Sky Sports are televising the Lions’ away trips to LA Galaxy (March 22) and New York Red Bulls (March 28) next month.
Sky Sports has now listed their full schedule of televised Major League Soccer fixtures through until the end of March.
As part of that release, Orlando City SC appeared twice.
Sky Sports Football’s first live broadcast is on Sunday 22nd March (22:00 GMT) where Oscar Pareja‘s side will make the long 2,506-mile trip to Carson to face LA Galaxy.
With Javier “Chicharito” Hernández now on board, the Galaxy will present as stiff a test as they always do in California.
Sky Sports Football’s second live broadcast is on Saturday 28th March (17:00 GMT) where Orlando City SC will face New York Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena.
The scene of a standout 0-1 victory last season, Oscar Pareja‘s side will hope for another three points against one of the Eastern Conference’s regular season specialists.
Elsewhere, Orlando City SC‘s home opener against Real Salt Lake hasn’t been selected for live broadcast by Sky Sports.
With Sky Sports usually airing the Lions’ opening fixture, this news is disappointing.
However, Orlando City UK awaits news whether the free-to-air FreeSports or Premier Sports will be showing this game.
Between these channels, they showed 12 live Orlando City SC games last season.
